A good son A loving brother A true friend Joseph M. Kennedy, 46, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2009 due to complications of burns he suffered when flames from an explosion engulfed his home. He was a lifelong resident of Pensacola FL. Joe was a skilled carpenter, avid book reader, lover of music, and enjoyed fishing and playing pool. Humble, sensitive, bright and tough, Joe had an infectious smile and was a very sweet, kind, warm and gentle man. He is loved and will be remembered by many friends. He loved the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Miami Dolphins. Joe had a quick and wry sense of humor and could see the punchline in just about anything. He is survived by his mother, Maggie Kennedy, brothers and sisters-in-law Ralph and Pat Kennedy; Tim and Teena Kennedy; and sister Samantha Jones. Predeceased is sister Ravonne Marie Kennedy. Joe is also survived by his dog, Boo. Funeral services will be conducted at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, 2942 Gulf Breeze Pkwy, in Gulf Breeze this Wednesday, February 18th at 3:00 pm.
