Joseph Bowles, Jr.

August 14, 1927 — December 28, 2009

After a brief battle with lung disease Joe Bowles a Marine Veteran of WWII, passed away at his sons home Monday Dec 28th with his family and friends at his side. Leading up to his passing many friends were able to come by to visit. We thank you for your time. Joe is survived by his three sons, Jody (Connie), Jimmy Neill (Joy), and Mark (Angie), five grandchildren; Joseph (Adeline), Corinne (James), Sara (Roger), Katie (Tom), and Maggie; four great grandchildren Kaelin, Jay, Kamrinne, and Max. Including his sister Anne, and her children Ann Carol, Janie, and Tommy, also his close friends Marie Fox, Tom Fields and his Magnolia Manor neighbors. Joe is a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Gulf Breeze. He and Betty cherished the relationships they made with the good members of this church. Including Pastor Rory Hermann, Maurine Lupo and Kathy Johansen. The family appreciates the services of Emerald Coast Hospice with his care. A memorial service will be held Thursday at noon at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 4257 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze Fl. 32563. Burial service with military honors will be at Barrancas National Cemetery NAS Pensacola Monday January 4th at 10:15 am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gulf Coast Honor Flight or Dr Natalie Dyson's Angel Fund at St. Francis Veterinary Center at Holly by the Sea. Rose Lawn Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
