Jean Wilken

Jean H Wilken, 93, of Gulf Breeze FL passed away Friday May 19, 2017.

Jean was born November 18, 1923 in Louisville KY to Maxwell and Fannie Huston. She graduated from Western Kentucky State College where she met the love of her life, Philip H Wilken. They married on May 31, 1942 and celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary before Philip passed away in August of 2006. Along with being a homemaker she worked as a secretary. Jean had many beloved pet cats in her lifetime and also had quite the green thumb. She enjoyed planting and caring for her plants and flowers. She is survived by her two daughters Lisa M Kenyon (Tim) and Rebecca J Wilken and her son Philip D Wilken (Joni). Eight grandchildren 11 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home 2942 Gulf Breeze Pkwy, Gulf Breeze FL. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm, Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Thursday May 25, 2017 at St Anne's Catholic Parrish, 100 Daniel Dr. Gulf Breeze FL 32562. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Humane Society.
