Jane Craig Parker, 70, passed away on January 12, 2012 in Gulf Breeze, Florida, after a courageous fight with cancer. She leaves Lynn, her devoted husband of 51 years; a daughter, Kristen Beggs (married to Robert) of Paragould, AR; and a son, Randy Parker (married to Leslie) of Memphis; and three grandchildren: Willoughby Parker, Sarah-Clare Parker and Andrew Bell. She also leaves a brother, Wilson Craig of Caulfield, MO. Jane enjoyed her family, the water, the beach, sailing, her book club, her church and gardening. She was a member of the Miraflores Garden Club. She volunteered her time at the Good Samaritan Clinic in Gulf Breeze and as a member of the Santa Rosa Women's Club. An accomplished watercolor artist, she won the prize for best transparent watercolor at the First City exhibition in Pensacola in 2010. Jane's professional career included work as an interior designer in St. Pete and Gulf Breeze and as a real estate agent in Memphis where she was also a member of Les Passees and the Maternal Welfare League. A visitation with family and friends will be held Friday, January 20, 2012, 5 pm - 7 pm, in the atrium at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Gulf Breeze. A celebration service will be held at the church, Saturday, January 21, 2012, at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Joyce Goldenberg Covenant Hospice or to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are being handled by Rose lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze.
