James Wood

James Andrew Wood, 47, of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013. James was born in Tennessee, but spent his formative years growing up in Naples, Italy. He was extremely proud of his Italian Heritage and always felt fortunate to have experienced this education and culture. James loved outdoor activities, especially traveling, fishing and camping. It was through his travels that helped enable James to have such a profound and positive impact on the lives of so many people. He had a passion for sharing and with it came a successful life in so many ways; career, family and friends. He was an enormous New Orleans Saints Fan and always enjoyed the comradery it brought with family and friends. James is predeceased by his mother, Lucia. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, and true-partner-in-life, Michele; two sons to whom he is a hero, Kyle and Cody; granddaughter Kaidyn; father Charlie Wood; three sisters , Pearl, Susan and Cecilia; as well as a host of other extended, loving family members and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will take place on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, Florida. A visitation will begin at 10:00 AM followed by service time of 11:00 AM.
