James Martin Jr.

James Edward Martin, Jr (Jimmy) of Gulf Breeze, FL, left for a greater place with God Saturday, August 9, 2014. Jimmy was born at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida on December 11, 1992 and is survived by his mother, Marilee A. Martin and father, James E. Martin, brothers Jonathan and Jack and sister Remy all of Gulf Breeze, FL. Also surviving Jimmy is his maternal grandmother, Emanuela D. Marsh of Pensacola, maternal grandfather, Paul C. Hazucha and Ele Hazucha of Milton, FL, paternal grandmother, Marilyn Alexander of Gulf Breeze, paternal grandparents William McGuire Martin and Molly Martin of Pensacola Beach, loving aunts, uncles, cousins and his favorite furry canine friends, Ricky and Maggie. Jimmy graduated from Gulf Breeze High School in May 2011 and studied at Pensacola State College. He was a member of Boy Scout Troop 484 until he was 18. Jimmy was very adventurous and never afraid to try anything new. Jimmy truly enjoyed his employment and family at McGuire's Irish Pub and in his spare time, he had a passion for skateboarding, wake-boarding, listening to music, playing the drums and joking around with his two younger brothers. We will always remember Jimmy's keen sense of humor and infectious smile. Pallbearers will be, Drew Holk, Dallas Glover, Vaughn Nichols, Perry Hunter, Chris Mayo, Jeff Smith and Lou Roberts. Funeral services will be led by Pastor John Spencer, on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Coastline Calvary Chapel in Gulf Breeze, with visitation one hour prior to services. Graveside committal service will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The Gadsden Fund c/o Gulf Breeze Animal Hospital, 2727 Gulf Breeze Pkwy 32561. 850-932-6116.
