James Albert Davidson, Jr. passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Saturday, May 12, due to complications related to a life-long struggle with diabetes. He was surrounded by his loving wife and three girls.
James, affectionately known as "Beany", was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. He was an ordained deacon and Sunday school teacher who loved the Lord with all of his heart and dedicated his life to serve him. He had a deep passion for lost souls and never missed an opportunity to share his faith.
He loved and adored his wife, Vera. Their love and devotion for one another lasted 65 wonderful years.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Vera; three daughters Kathy (Tony), Vicki (Roy), Jamie (Chris); five grandchildren, Brandi (Josh), Joshua (Heather), Jacob, Cory and Shallie; three great-grandchildren Jack, Olivia and Jackson. A fourth great-grandchild is due July 21, Emersyn James.
A time of visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at East Brent Baptist Church, Pensacola, FL until the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens, Pensacola at 2:30 PM.
