Jack Thompson

Jack F. Thompson 1925 - 2011 Jack F. Thompson, age 85 of Niceville, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Twin Cities Hospital. He was a devoted father and a veteran of World War II. He flew more than fifty missions and retired from the military in 1966. He also attended art school in San Francisco and had a second career as a commercial artist. Jack is survived by a son John (Cheryl) Thompson of Senoia, GA. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Niceville, FL Graveside service and interment with military honors will follow at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church Building Fund, 1200 Valparaiso Blvd., Niceville, FL 32578 Arrangements are entrusted to Rose Lawn Funeral Home of Gulf Breeze.
