Jack Mcdonald

Jack L. McDonald, Sr., 83, of Navarre, FL, went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 28, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary McDonald; four sons: Jerry L. (Debbie) McDonald of Springville, AL; Jack L. (Mary) McDonald, Jr. of Navarre, FL; Larry (Linda) Chambliss, of Racine, WI; Donald (Linda) Nelson of Slidell, LA; one daughter: Laurie (Curt) Sheckles of Hueytown, AL; and one sister: Linda McDonald of McCalla, AL. He was also survived by numerous grandchildren, great & great, great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his eldest daughter: Jacqueline Hudson. Mr. McDonald was a Viet Nam Vet who served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force for 26 years actively before retiring as a SMSGT. He then worked and retired from both the University of South Florida & the University of West Florida. He was a 32nd degree mason and was also a dedicated member of Billory Baptist Church of Navarre, FL. He will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. Viewing for Mr. McDonald will be held on December 31, 2011 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, in Gulf Breeze, FL beginning at 1pm followed by a graveside service at 2pm.
