Iris Astrene

Iris peacefully entered into glory on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 and has gone to tend God's Garden. She was born March 22, 1930 in Mayo, Florida and is preceded in death by her husband Jim Astrene, her parents, Dent and Ruth Walker, one brother and four sisters. Iris is survived by her son Kennith Kelley and daughters, Barbara Kelley (Randy Gardner) and Bonnie (Neal) Jennings. Also left to cherish her memory are two grandchildren and six great grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly. She was a member of Olive Baptist Church. The family wishes to express a special "Thank You and Appreciation" to the entire staff of Bayside Manor in Pensacola, Florida, for their loving and compassionate care of our Mother and Grandmother. Services for family and friends of Iris will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, Gulf Breeze, Florida, on Friday, March 13, 2015. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 PM followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM.
