Ira Wright

On Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 4:42 PM, Ira Henry Wright of 1257 Sanibel Lane, Gulf Breeze, Florida, died in Gulf Breeze Hospital after a long illness of four months. Ira was predeceased by his mother, Pearl E Wright, his brother, Melvin Wright, his first wife, Marian E Wright, the mother of his three children, and his second wife Sylvia Wright. He is survived by his three children, Craig Wright, Elizabeth W Jeffrey and Kurt C Wright, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Ira graduated from Delgado Community College in New Orleans, Louisiana as an Architectural Draftsman and worked in the construction industry for thirty years. He then worked at Tulane Medical Center as a laboratory transporter for ten years upon which he retired to Gulf Breeze. Ira's cremains will be placed in the family tomb with his mother, Pearl Wright, his brother, Melvin Wright and his beloved aunt, Claudie Garner in the Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans, LA at 5200 Canal Street at a later date.
