Imogene Fowler Davis, 82, of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed away on May 6th. Born August 14, 1929 in Washington D.C. and raised in Mobile Alabama, she and her husband, Corbett Davis Sr. married in 1949 and moved to Pensacola in 1950. On July 30th they would have been married 63 years. As the Matriarch of Jewelers Trade Shop, Imogene helped Corbett Sr. build a successful business in downtown Pensacola now in its third generation. The love and hard work she put into JTS set a high standard and example that can still be seen today. Imogene's comfortable dinner table was regularly filled with friends and family who always looked forward to her fine cooking and her sharp sense of humor. This was one of the joys of her life as were watering her flowers, walking on her dock or playing with one of the many cats she owned through the years. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother she will be missed by a family that loves her very much. Imogene is survived by her husband, Corbett Davis Sr. She is also survived by three children and their spouses, Corbett Davis Jr. and DeeDee Davis, Bradley Davis Sr. and Mary Davis, Corlette Davis Mueller and Gus Mueller, seven grandchildren, Corbett Davis III, Bradley Davis Jr. (BJ), Courtney Davis, Matthew Davis, Gabriel Mueller, Luke Mueller, Leo Mueller, two great grandchildren, Corbett Davis III, Mia Katherine Davis Imogene is predeceased by one grandson, Adam Davis. Visitation will be held Wednesday May, 9th at Rose Lawn funeral home from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral service and Mass will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze on Thursday May 10th at 10:00 AM. A friend of the family, Father John Licari, will be saying the mass. Interment will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Gulf Breeze following the service. Pallbearers for the funeral will be; Gus Mueller, Gabriel Mueller, Luke Mueller, Corbett Davis III, B.J. Davis, Matthew Davis, Honorary Pallbearer Leo Mueller In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made on behalf of the angels of mercy who helped them get through a sad and difficult time.
