Ilene Cheatwood

Mrs. Ilene Cheatwood , 79, passed on July 10, 2009, in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Born in Berry, Alabama, Ilene married Robert Glenn Cheatwood, Jr., and traveled extensively beside her loving husband through 20 years in the United States Navy. They were married 43 years until Roberts' passing on June 7, 1991. Ilene was preceded in death by; her parents, Bee and Annie Willcutt, her sisters, Eunice Anderson and Claudine Honeycutt, brother Clester Willcutt, and her only son Robert Steven Cheatwood. Ilene is survived by: her daughter Barbara Cheatwood Gillis, grandson Adam Daniel (Roxanne) Gillis, and great-grandson Jackson Champ Gillis. Sisters: Dorothy Earnest and Ruby Kilgore-Weaver. Nieces: Pam (Mack) Kilgore-Morris, Charlotte (Joe) Schneider, Carolyn (Wayne) Webb, Glenda (Bill) Lee and Shirley (Mike) Wyatt. Nephews: Gary (Jane) Anderson and Pete (Merry) Kilgore. Private viewing Monday, July 13, 2009, 10:00 am at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563. Graveside service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 10:15 AM. Honor luncheon being held at Hemmingway's, Pensacola Beach, at 12:00 PM.
