Ida Sergent

Pauline Sergent, age 86, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, July 8, 2013 after an extended period of illness. She was born on May 22, 1927 in Bourbon County, Kentucky to Cecil Sosby and Hazel Garrison Sosby. She was a long time resident of Astor, Florida prior to moving to Gulf Breeze in January 2011. Mrs. Sergent was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over thirty-eight years, Eugene F. Sergent and by her youngest son, Donald R. Dorsey. She is survived by her son William A. (Nonnie) Dorsey of Gulf Breeze, two granddaughters, Evelyn D. (Alex) Johnston and Wendy (Robbie) Ayers-Underhill, a grandson, Robert F. Dorsey, a daughter-in-law, Barbara C. Dorsey, four great-grandchildren, Owen Johnston, Amelia, Ian and Lilliana Underhill, a sister, Roselyn Wilson and a niece, Roxanne (Jack) Irwin. Services and inurnment will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice or a charity of your choice.
