Henry Morrison

Henry T. Morrison, III, 91, died September 19, 2023. He was born September 9, 1932 in McClellanville, SC to Henry T. Morrison, Jr. and Lois Howell and is survived by his grandson, Henry T. Morrison, IV and several first cousins. He had a wonderful childhood in McClellanville. After his father died in 1944, he and his mother moved to Columbia, SC. where his mother taught school. He attended Dreher high school and the University of South Carolina and was a jet pilot for the SC National Guard and later was a pilot for Delta Airlines where he was the “Chief Pilot” in Miami, Florida until his retirement at age 60. In his retirement years he lived in Miami Beach and Navarre Beach, Florida. A private ceremony will be held by family members in his memory. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the St. James Episcopal Church or the Village Museum in McClellanville, SC.or a charity of your choice.
