Helen Couey

Helen Marquis Couey, age 78, formerly of Rosedale, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Gulf Breeze, Florida. She is survived by her children, Marshelle Couey Hampton, Granville Marquis (Marq) Couey, and Lucy Couey Davis, eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Helen was a graduate of Rosedale High School, class of 1957. After raising her children, she worked for the Federal Aviation Administration in Anchorage, Alaska, then transferred to Oklahoma City with FAA to care for her father. She retired from FAA after 20 years of dedicated service. Her children will remember her lovingly as a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. A graveside service will take place at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Gulf Breeze, Florida, on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 2:00PM. Family and friends will gather at Rose Lawn Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
