Hazel Tickle

Hazel Ann Tickle of Gulf Breeze passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013. Hazel was born in Tidewater, West Virginia and graduated with the class of 1957 from Graham High School, Bluefield, VA and Pensacola Jr. College. Hazel was the owner and stylist of Foxy Lady Hair Studio in Gulf Breeze for many years. She loved gardening, cooking, oil painting, and reading and also loved to travel. Hazel was preceded in death by her beloved son Randy Tickle. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Randall K Tickle, daughters, Kathy Kirk of Bluefield, VA and Judy Lilly of Pensacola, FL, a brother, Joe Rowe, of Anniston, AL, grandsons, Tyler Kirk of Memphis, TN and Alex Tickle of Gulf Breeze, granddaughters, Brianna Lilly, Arianna Jones and Savannah Jones all of Pensacola. Most people in life have one "best friend": Ann was lucky enough to have many. She loved her friends like family. A time of visitation will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM with a funeral service held there at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 11:45. Pallbearers will be Tyler Kirk, Alex Tickle, Mark Brownlie and Warren Jerrems.
