Harvey Himes

Harvey Parker Himes, 91, of Navarre, Florida passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014. A native of Vanceburg, Kentucky, Mr. Himes served in the United States Army from 1942 to 1946. He was very proud of his service in the military and was awarded a Victory Medal during World War II. Harvey leaves behind to cherish his memory three children; Robert C. Himes , Jenny McKenzie and Tommy Carbone; four grandchildren, John Patrick Copley, James Ryan McKenzie, Chelsea Wall and Dylan Curtis Himes as well as three great-grandchildren . Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, January 10, 2014 at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Military honors will be rendered by the United States Army. In lieu of flowers, at the request of Mr. Himes, please consider a contribution to any Veterans Organization. These associations that support our military troops and their families were close to his heart.
