Harry Edwin Risher, Jr. (H.E., Big H, Uncle H), after a faith-filled battle against brain cancer in which he never let the disease "get him down," quietly slipped into heaven to be God's handy-man on August 29, 2011. H.E. leaves a large void in the hearts and lives of his mother, Patricia Risher; father, Harry Risher, Sr. (Burdettea); sisters, Kammi Tibbs (Ronnie), Tanya Weng (Gary), Christy Johnson (Bubba); nephews and nieces, Brooks Paul Clements, III (Lindsay), (Lil') Bubba Johnson, Melia Schepper (Wade), April Johnson, Morgan Tibbs, Tyler Weng, Holden Tibbs; grand-nephews and nieces, Brooks Paul Clements, IV, Breckon Clements, Bella Clements, Vera Schepper; step mother, Pene Risher; loving aunts, uncles and cousins; numerous friends; coworkers of the National Elevator Industry; and H.E.'s best friend Slater. H.E. joins in heaven his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry F. Risher, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Harper. There will be a celebration of H.E.'s life at Roselawn Funeral Home, 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, FL, 32563. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. followed by the Celebration of Life service at 2 p.m. The family wishes to express a very special thanks to Dr. Thomas Sunnenberg, Shannon, and staff for their compassionate care and concern during H.E.'s illness.
