Graham Dunbar

Graham Sutherland Dunbar, 32, of Milton, Florida, passed away suddenly on November 18, 2023. He was born on June 5, 1991, in Burlington, Vermont, and spent his early years on the islands of Lake Champlain. Graham was a loving and much-loved husband, son, brother, uncle, and nephew who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Graham attended grade school in North Hero, Vermont, and graduated in 2010 from Tarpon Springs High School in Florida, where he met his future bride. He then enlisted and served in the Navy from 2010 to 2021 as an aviation mechanic, including deployments on the USS Abraham Lincoln. Graham then continued his career as an aircraft mechanic in the private sector, working in Kingsville, Texas, and Pensacola, Florida.

From an early age, Graham had a passion for tinkering with motors and all things mechanical. He especially enjoyed spending time on the water, boating and fishing on Lake Champlain or the Gulf of Mexico, as well as riding his motorcycle and camping.

Graham is survived by his beloved wife Alicia Husted Dunbar of Milton, FL, his father Scott Dunbar (Marilyn) of West Chazy, NY, and his mother Heather Dunbar (Alice) of New Port Richey, FL. He is also survived by his brothers Maclean Dunbar (Jessica) and nieces of Effort, PA, and Daniel Nadeau of Highgate Springs, VT, his sister Allana Gerlach (Anthony) and nephew of Alburg, VT, his grandfather Herbert Dunbar of Glover, VT, and his grandmother Joan Sutherland of New Port Richey, FL. Graham was preceded in death by his grandmother Virginia Dunbar and grandfather John Sutherland.

Please join us in remembering and celebrating Graham's life.  Visitation will be Friday, December 1, 2023 from 9:30-11 AM at Rose Lawn Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service beginning at 11:00 AM.  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
