Geneva Holloway

Geneva Lou Harrelson Holloway, born May 14, 1927 to Mary Edna and Marcellous David Harrelson of Taylorsville, MS, passed away February 16, 2013 at the age of 85. A long-time resident of Gulf Breeze, Geneva Holloway was an elementary public educator in the Escambia County school system for 41 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze for the past 58 years where she remained active in Sunday School and the Merry Makers choir until her health no longer permitted her to do so. Geneva is preceded in death by Isaac Louis Holloway, husband of 65 years. She is survived by son, David, daughters Carolyn (Dennis Bouchillon), Lynn (Michael Farmer), and Markita; grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze Thursday, February 21, at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. A graveside service will take place in Taylorsville, MS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory for the Renfroe Center at First Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze.
