Florice Latina

Florice Evelyn Lee Latina, age 89, passed peacefully at Covenant Hospice on January 18, 2009. Born to Henry and Laura Holloway Lee (3rd wife) on October 6, 1919 in Summerdale, Alabama, Flo was the youngest of 21 children. At 50 years old Flo got her driver's license, went to college and became a nurse at Baptist Hospital until she retired. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sebastian Latina she leaves to cherish her memory, her talented daughter, Ruth Theresa Latina Matthews of Gulf Breeze, FL; her benevolent son Lee Sebastian Latina of Dillard GA, her two gifted and ingenious grandchildren Christina and Westley Latina, her loving sister, Ruth Aubry Lee Kee of Pensacola, FL, brothers and sisters-in-laws, Tony & Gloria Latina of Naugatuck, CT, Frank & Joan Latina of Wolcott, CT, John & Marilyn Latina of Waterbury, CT and a host of nieces , nephews , cousins, other relatives & friends. Graveside services will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, Friday, January 23, 2008 at 11:45 AM. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Hospice, 10075 Hillview Road, Pensacola, FL 32514.
