Emma Daniel

Emma Hudson Daniel 1-13-1915 - 11-5-2010 Emma Daniel, at almost 96 years of age, passed away peacefully on a beautiful morning with her three loving children at her side. She was the oldest member of the 1st Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze, an avid bridge player to the very end of her life and loved to do cross word puzzles and solve problems as she read the newspaper daily. She moved to Gulf Breeze after the death of her husband, P.E. "Buddy" Daniel in 1995, after a career in retail management on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She is survived by a brother and two sisters, a son; Kenneth Daniel of Gulf Breeze FL, two daughters; Jennifer Zion of Bonaire GA, and Deborah Currie of Pensacola FL, nine grandsons, one granddaughter, seven great grandsons, six great granddaughters and one great-great grandson. A viewing will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze, 555 Fairpoint Drive in Gulf Breeze, FL ,on Thursday, November 11th with a memorial service immediately following. The family wishes to publicly thank William Zimmern M.D., for his outstanding care over the years and Covenant Hospice, whose wonderful, loving service has meant so much to our Mother and all the members of our family. The family requests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in Emma's memory to the First Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze FL. Rose Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
