Eloise B. Smith

     Eloise B. Smith, 87, of Gulf Breeze, FL, died on Sunday, August 06, 2023, after a lengthy illness. 

     Funeral services will be 11 am, Friday, August 11, 2023, from the chapel of Rose Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. David Gibson officiating.  A burial will follow in the Rose Lawn Cemetery with Rose Lawn Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time on Friday. 

     Eloise attended Greenleaf Business College.  She worked as a secretary/stenographer, before her marriage to Ralph William Smith.  Prior to her illness, she was an active member of First Baptist Church of Gulf Breeze, FL.  She enjoyed singing in the choir and being actively involved in Bible study.  She also enjoyed cooking, baking, and caring for her home and family. 

     Eloise was preceded in death by G.B. Burrell, Dewey Burrell, Roscoe Burrell, Hoyt Burrell, Carrie Esterline, Kathleen Burrell Campbell, Martha Irene Burrell Rousey, Melinda Newhart Lassiter, and Peggy Moleen Burrell Gaston.

     She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Karen Smith, Sarasota, FL; sons, Samuel Brian Smith and Gary Edward Smith, Gulf Breeze, FL; daughters-in-law, Ann W Smith and Teresita Gayotin Smith, Gulf Breeze, FL; son-in-law, Stanley E. Redick, Jr., Sarasota, FL.
