Edna Cook

Edna Cook, age 88, passed over on Sunday, January 12, 2014. She was born in Uriah, AL on May 28, 1925. Edna was known for her loving spirit, she loved everyone that she came to know, and they loved her back. Those who were close to her have been blessed by her love. She retired from Monsanto after working there for twenty-five years and was a member of Santa Rosa Shores Baptist Church in Gulf Breeze. Edna is preceded in death by her husband of fifty seven years, Coley Cook in 2002 and her son-in-law, Jack Tornatore. She is survived by her son Danny (Nan) Cook, her daughter Judy Tornatore, grandchildren; William Cook, Donald Cook, Tammy Miller, Billy Morris, Candy Morris, Daniel Cook and Cassie Cook. Also, her three little dogs, Daisy, Little Girl and Little Boy. A time of visitation will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM. Edna will be laid to rest next to her husband Coley in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
