Edmond C. "E.C." Moore, age 85, of Pensacola, FL went to sleep in the Lord March 20, 2010 at 8:30 pm. He was born July 29,1924 in Elba, AL. E.C. was preceded in death by his father, William T. Moore, his mother, Amanda Moore, his son G. Thomas Moore, four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Bernice M. Moore, his son W.T. "Bill" Moore and his wife Michelle, his daughter Pamela Donovan and her husband Pat, grandchildren Tierney Montooth, Amanda Pekrul, Clint, Sheldon and Mason Moore, Erin and Patrick Donovan, and one soon to come great-grandchild Abby Montooth. After separating from the Navy in 1946, E.C. worked at Brookley Field as an aircraft mechanic. E.C. accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour July 22, 1955. He established the Montgomery Rescue Mission in 1958. He went on to found Berean Bible Study Association and then established a church in Pensacola, FL in 1972. E.C. dedicated over 50 years of his life to the preaching and teaching of the Gospel of Christ, salvation by Grace through faith, through his Pensacola church, television and tape ministry, and his numerous Bible classes throughout the country. Services will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens with Brother Jack Lockhart and Pastor Byron Wiggins officiating. Viewing will be held Tuesday March 23, 2010 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. and funeral services will be Wednesday March 24, 2010 at 12 Noon.
