Dorothy Pugh

Dorothy Faye Pugh, 78, a long time resident of Pensacola passed away Monday, October 31, 2011. She was born on March 5, 1933 to Clyde and Flora Murphy. Dorothy grew up in Jay and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in education. She taught school at Sherwood Elementary for many years. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and had a keen eye for business ventures. She is survived by her daughter; Deborah Ann McArthur (DeVan), sons; James R. Pugh, Jr. (Joyce) and Ronald C. Pugh (LeeAnn), grandchildren; Amber Labrato (Justin), James R. Pugh, III (Halley), Jacob M. Pugh, Joshua C. Pugh (Carolyn), and Jason A. Pugh, great-grandchildren; Tabitha Labrato, Ryan Labrato, Cayman Pugh, and Madelynn Pugh. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home.
