Dorothy Jeanine May Carley 1934 - 2010 Dorothy Jeanine May Carley, 76, of Gulf Breeze passed away September 15, 2010. Jeanine was born in Perdido, Alabama to Leemon and Dimple May. After graduating from Baldwin County High School in 1952, she worked over 30 years as a civil servant for both the Navy and Army. Before retiring to Gulf Breeze, Jeanine lived in Hawaii, Europe and travelled extensively in Asia. Jeanine is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Thomas and her son-in-law Michael; two grandchildren, Christopher and Ana; her sister, Wanda McKinnon; and her two brothers Ray May and Rodney May. The family also recognizes her faithful and loving friend, Ralph "Jim" Ashton. A memorial service will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, Saturday, September 18, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a graveside service at Pine Grove Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Perdido, AL. at 3:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army.
