Donna Bryan

Donna Bryan, age 70, of 4152 Sandy Bluff Drive in Gulf Breeze, Florida went to be with our Lord on Saturday October 26, 2019 after an extended stay at The Haven of Our Lady of Peace Nursing home.

Donna was born April 22, 1949, the daughter of Bob Haney and Jewel Killingsworth Haney.  She grew up in Winfield, Alabama. After graduating from Winfield High School she attended the University of Alabama where she was conveyed numerous degrees. She expressed a great interest in the arts creating many pieces herself that she shared with friends, students, and schools.

A lifelong educator she began her teaching career in her hometown with the Winfield City Schools. She later also worked at the middle school in Decatur, Alabama as well as in Escambia County, Florida. In Escambia County she was a proud employee of the Westgate Center and R.C. Lipscomb. She retired from education in 2016.

She was preceded in death by her father Bob Haney, her mother Jewel Kingsworth Haney, and her brother Bobby Haney

Donna is survived by her two sons, Joshua William Bryan and Jacob Frederick Bryan, both residents of Gulf Breeze, Florida.

A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held Friday November 8, 2019 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Visitation will be at 3:00 PM followed by a ceremony at 4:00.
