Donald Wilson

Donald C. Wilson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and son, age 73, of 1415 Nantahala Beach Rd., Gulf Breeze, FL died September 12, 2014. Born February 19, 1941 in Bozeman, Montana, the son of Charles Wilson and Mildred Eller. He graduated from High School in Ogden, UT, and attended Montana State University where he graduated in 1963 with a degree in Business. It was while at MSU that Don met and married his bride of 51 years, Donna Leigh Wilson. Don served in the Army (1963-1969) and did a tour in Vietnam. He retired as a Captain. Don then worked at PPG in Cumberland, MD and Pittsburgh, PA in the areas of Accounting, IT and HR. He retired after 30 years with the company. Don loved life and lived it fully. He had a passion for the church, music, the Steelers, bridge, and travelling with Donna. More than any of these things, he deeply loved and served his family and friends. But most of all, he loved and served The Lord. Surviving are his wife Donna, and his children, Ron and Kim; daughter-in-law Marie; three grandchildren, Hillary, Leah and Donavan; mother Mildred; and sister Debbie. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Monday, September 15, at Coastline Calvary Chapel, 1122 Oriole Beach Rd., Gulf Breeze, FL 32563 with a celebration of Don's life immediately after at the same location.
