Don Bohorques

Don Lewis Bohorques 1926 - 2010 Don Lewis Bohorques, 83 of Navarre died Monday, March 15, 2010. He was born June 16, 1926 in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from Venice High School in 1944. He married Joanne Nicholls in 1948 and they have been married 61 years. Don served in WWII from 1944 to 1946. He was a member of the 36th Infantry Division that helped to liberate the Nazi Death Camp of Dachau. When he separated from the service he became a Communications Specialist for the Department of Defense with the Civil Service. Don was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Navarre. Don was preceded in death by his son Don Bohorques, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joanne Bohorques; Daughters Pamela Crider, Luling Texas and Bonnie Cullen of Reston, Virginia; Son Timothy Bohorques of Pensacola. His Grandchildren include Jacob Crider of Texas, Don Bohorques III of Pensacola and Desiree Bohorques of Pensacola. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Navarre at 10 o'clock AM on Saturday, March 20. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Don's memory to First Baptist Church of Navarre. Arrangements entrusted to Rose Lawn Funeral Home of Gulf Breeze.
