Delbert Fisher

Delbert Lee Fisher 1924-2008 Delbert Lee Fisher, 83, of Pensacola passed away Monday, July 28, 2008. Delbert was born in Lake Lynn, PA. November 16, 1924. He joined the CCC prior to entering the U.S. Navy. Delbert served in the Navy for 28 years, seeing service in three wars, WWII, Korea and Viet Nam. He was a kind and loving family man and will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife Shirley Granholm Fisher; step-son Charles Ray (Betty) Granholm; two sisters-in-law Rivers Coleman and Alice Howze both of Greenwood, MS. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, August 1, 2008 at Community of Christ Church with Pastors Gary and Marsha Howard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Burial with military honors will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. Rose Lawn Funeral Home of Gulf Breeze is in charge of arrangements.
