David "Eddie" Upchurch

Eddie Upchurch, 71, of Gulf Breeze, FL died on Thursday, May 11, 2023.  

Eddie began a company, now known as CCI, in 1978, with his friend and business partner, Bill Fite.  Together with their wives, they built a successful business and forged lifelong friendships. Eddie loved to boat, fish, and talk business, but his favorite hobby was real estate.  His favorite place to be was with his wife of 52 years, Judy, his 2 children, daughter-in-law, Katie, 5 grandchildren and his dog, Scout.  

A Celebration of Life service will be held 3 pm, Saturday, May 20, 2023 from the chapel of Rose Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Spiller officiating and Rose Lawn Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be from 2 pm until service time.  The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pensacola Hotel for Dogs and Cats-Adoption/Rescue, www.h4dc.org, Save Underdogs, www.saveunderdogs.com.  

Survivors include his wife, Judy Upchurch, Gulf Breeze, FL; daughter, Leigh Upchurch, New Orleans, LA; son & daughter-in-law, David Upchurch (Katie), Canton, GA; grandchildren, Ann Brannon, Tripp & Morgan Upchurch, Canton, GA, Leo & Lane Seago, New Orleans, LA; brother & sister-in-law, Jay Moore (Debbie), Dadeville, AL; sister-in-law, Jackie Head, Douglasville, GA; brother-in-law, Jim Moore, Temple, GA; brother & sister-in-law, John Moore (Kyle), Kennesaw, GA; many nieces and nephews also survive.
