David Charles Brown 1959 - 2010 David C. Brown, 50, died suddenly on Friday, August 20, 2010 of a heart attack at his home in Gulf Breeze, FL. David was born in Camp Pendleton, CA on October 13, 1959. With a father in the Marines, David lived in various parts of the country, from Hawaii to New York to Florida. He attended Florida State University and graduated in 1984 with a BS in Geology. David was a loving father, husband and friend to all. He loved the outdoors and excelled in fishing, hunting and sports. He will be missed dearly by everyone that ever had the pleasure of meeting him. He is survived by his wife Brandi Thurkettle-Brown; his children Alex (17), Madison (16), Grant (14) and Braeden (5); his parents, Lt. Col Peter Brown and Paricia Brown; and his siblings Michael Brown, Mary Kay Daniels and Amy DePrisco. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at St. Sylvester's Catholic Church in Navarre, FL. ROSE LAWN FUNERAL HOME of Gulf Breeze is in charge of the arrangements.
