David Bonner

David R. Bonner, age 78, of Jay, Florida passed away March 18, 2018. David was born on June 23, 1939.
He retired from Monsanto after 37.5 years as a mechanic and machinist. He was an avid �sherman and loved watching Nascar and drag racing. He also enjoyed �ying kites as a hobby. He was a life long member of Pensacola First Church of the Nazarene. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
David is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ann Jones Bonner, his three daughters, Shannon Garrett (Johnny), Melonie Callahan (John), and Tanya Menard (Art). Also, his grandchildren Lane Garrett, John Caleb and Zachary Callahan, his brother Mike Bonner and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida Pearl Bonner Smith of Pensacola, Fl and Orville Bonner of Mobile, Al.
A time of visitation will be held at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, Gulf Breeze on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. A celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will be in the Rose Lawn Funeral Home Mausoleum.
