Claire Marie Cullerton of Pensacola Beach, Florida, born on February 25, 1929 in Chicago IL, passed away on July 24th 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimers . She was the loving wife of 67 years to Norman Cullerton and mother two daughters; Noreen Thomas (Danny) and Jill Conlon (Timothy). She was grandmother of 5 grandchildren; James Tushner (Heather), Julie Bryk, Caitlin Conlon, Michael Conlon and Nicole Ryan (Ross). Her 6 great-grandchildren include; Madisyn Bryk, Logan Bryk, Annika Tushner, Joey Tushner , Arika Tushner, and Lincoln Ryan. She has one surviving brother, Clarence Krewer.
She was preceded in death by her parents Marie and George Krewer, and brother Charles Krewer.
She was an active member at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church on Pensacola Beach. Claire spent many years volunteering her time for several organizations. She loved music, art and animals. She had a passion for remolding houses and decorating, and enjoyed spending time with all of her nieces and nephews. Prior to living in Florida, she lived in the Chicago-land area where she raised her family, along with fostering over 35 children.
A Celebration of life, will begin at 10:30 AM, Thursday July 27, 2017 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 920 Via de Luna Dr., Pensacola Beach, FL 32561.A time of visitation with the family will begin one-half hour prior to the service time.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest to make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.
