Charles Michael “Big Mike” Ingham, age 70, of Gulf Breeze, passed away peacefully with his family by his side February 17, 2022. He was born on December 03, 1951, in Pensacola, FL to the late Charles and Marie Ingham. Mike attended Pensacola State College and was owner of Gulf Breeze Marine Service for 26 years. He was known for his larger than life, generous, charming, and charismatic spirit. Mike never met a stranger and treated everyone like family. He enjoyed making people laugh, which he did often. Mike enjoyed his work and the love of old cars, both of which he shared with his son.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gladys Hippard; and nephew, Eric Hippard. Those left with fond memories are his wife of 51 years, Flora “Toni” Ingham; children, Theresa Ingham, and Michael “Little Mike” (Salena) Ingham; grandchildren, Amber Wallace, Andrew Nieves, Amber Ingham, and Maya Ingham; great-grandchild, Liam Ingham; niece, Victoria (Hugh) McWilliams; nephew, Scott (Karen) Hippard; niece, Kelly (John) Foster; and a host of extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 6:00pm, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze FL 32563. The funeral service will begin at 2:00pm, Wednesday, February 23, 2022, also at Rose Lawn Funeral Home. Pastor Jim Bell will officiate. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael “Little Mike” Ingham, Andrew Nieves, Johnny Workman, Scott Magee, William Cawthorn and Scott Hippard.
