It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Davis who left us on June 30, 2024, at the young age of 53. He was a beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend who was cherished by so many. He had a successful career as a Corporate Director of Operations over-seeing 300 employees at 5 different facilities. Prior to that, he was a top salesman in the country with Pellerin for several years. He always said, “If you work hard, you can play hard.” He worked hard, believed in Jesus, prayed, and ended his days when possible with his family - playing card games, dominoes, pool, or enjoyed swinging on the back patio while talking.
Chuck was a passionate pool player who competed in numerous tournaments during his younger years. He found his greatest joy on the water, relaxing and fishing on his boat. Chuck was a gracious host who loved bringing family and friends together for delicious meals he cooked. If you were at one of Chuck's gatherings, you were guaranteed laughs, great food, and heartfelt conversations. Chuck's kindness, welcoming nature, and supportive spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who met him. He will be remembered as someone who enjoyed life the most when he was surrounded by family and friends. He touched the lives of many and will be missed deeply. **Survived By**: He is survived by his wife Donna Cooper and children Sean Craft (spouse- Melissa Castro), Alayna Craft (spouse – Kim Hebert), Lance Craft (spouse – Cheyenne Allen) and one grandson, Kayce Hebert. Siblings Tommy Ellis, Sarah Abernathy, Yvette Williams and John Dewayne Ellis. Many cousins who were first best friends and many beloved nieces and nephews whom considered him a second father figure.
He was preceded in death by Alma Jeanette Duncan- mother, Charles Davis Sr.- father, and his brother, Michael Davis.
