Catherine Marie (Sabat) Corallo, 61, passed away on May 4, 2021, surrounded by her children in Navarre, Florida. She was born on March 5, 1960, to Stanley and Irmgard (Rose) Sabat of Windsor Locks, Connecticut where she was raised. She married Marc Corallo in 1981, and they raised three sons, Ben, Chris, and Daniel, and a daughter Emily in Suffield, Connecticut.
Catherine was a caring and conscientious nursing assistant at Windsor Hall in her younger years. She was considerate and empathized with those in need, either by volunteering at Enfield Loaves and Fishes, or giving a hug, or lending an ear. She was a passionate traveler of the American West, Caribbean, Italy, Poland, and enthusiastically visited family in her ancestral city of Bremen, Germany. She loved animals of all kinds having many cats, dogs, and chickens. She revered nature and adored the natural scenery of the White Mountains and fall foliage. She was an avid reader with wide-ranging interests which she enjoyed discussing at the book club or with her family. She was a talented cook, baker, and gardener growing some of her own food and herbs. More than anything, she was a loving mother. Catherine's whole-hearted love and devotion for her children was stronger than anything in the world.
Catherine was preceded in death by her father Stanley and mother Irmgard.
