Carol Smith

Carol Ann Smith, age 65, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, passed away on September 22, 2020. Carol was born on July 4, 1955, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, to Clifford and Imogene Gibson. Carol was a loving wife, mother, and the best grandma anyone could ask for. She was the CFO at Military Media Inc. Carol loved gardening, traveling, hosting parties, cooking, serving, and mentoring her family. She was the pillar of strength that spoke the truth, and she loved spending time in God’s word.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Imogene Gibson, and her grandparents, Cecil and Birdie Gibson.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Richard; sons, Justin (Melanie) Smith, Aaron (Erika) Smith, and Clint (Debra) Smith; granddaughters, Chonte Sawyer, Gracie Smith, Jorie Gene Smith, and Annabelle Smith; grandsons, Dylan Smith, Garhett Smith, and Gabe Smith; brothers, Wayne Gibson and Tommy Gibson; and sisters, Barbara Sproul, Sue Gratner, Kim Smith, and Lisa Secondine.
A memorial service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at 2:00 pm at Rose Lawn Funeral Home. Joey Rogers, Pastor of Pace Assembly of God, officiating.
