It is with great shock and sadness that Chris and David share the news of our beloved Mother’s passing on July 6 in Pensacola at the age of 81.
Carol was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania. She attended Penn State University and later became a secretary for the local U.S. Congressman in Washington D.C., where she met her husband Jack in 1961 and later married in 1962. She was a lifelong homemaker and an excellent cook. Later in life she became an avid golfer and bowler. She once said before our father died that he was not allowed to die on a Tuesday or Wednesday (golf & bowling days). She was a wonderful mother to her sons, taking them to baseball practice/games and golf outings, making sure to see after their every need. When she became a grandma, she followed every one of Nicklaus’ games and outings with great enthusiasm and loved babysitting her grand dog Mr. Biggz.
In recent years, her health has not been well and she was yearning to be re-united with our Dad and our sister Debbie. Her wish finally came true. Our family is at peace in knowing Mom, Dad and Debbie are forever united again, in Heaven.
Carol was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Lee, her mother, Mary (Dodson) Lee, her brothers, Eugene and Ronnie Lee, her daughter, Deborah and her husband of 55 years, Jack Bisceglio.
Carol is survived by her brother, Wayne Lee, her sister, Deborah K. Tate, her sons David and Chris, her daughter-in-law, Gina and her beloved grandson, Nicklaus.
A private service will be held Thursday, July 13 at Barrancas National Cemetery. The family is not requesting flowers or donations.
