Cally Ross

Cally Grace Ross, 46, beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother (GiGi), aunt, cousin, and friend to many, was called to her eternal resting place on March 6, 2025. She entered this world on November 4, 1978, in Cottonwood, AZ, born to Lanny Ross and Rene Buford. She was preceded in death by her father, Lanny, and siblings Patricia and David Ross. She is survived by her mother, Rene Frost; daughters Jessy Landon (Kelby), Kelsy Bundy (Jesse); Grandchildren Krew and Ava Landon. Brothers Calvin Ross (Karissa), Shelton Ross, Lanny Ross Jr., and sister Bernadette Manning.

Cally loved nature, wherever she was—whether it was the mountains, desert, ocean, or forest, she always wanted to be outside exploring, especially with her adventure buddies, Rosco and Copper. She adored any living creature. When she was inside, you could often find her watching a Disney movie or crime show while crafting or painting.

Cally had a true talent for making whatever she touched beautiful, most likely colored brightly, with a layer of glitter or a peace sign and smiley face. She had a spice collection that could rival any chef’s—colorful, filled jars of mystery. Her favorite way to relax was by putting on music and dancing around barefoot while she cooked. Mexican food was by far her favorite, but her meals always had a special touch—just like everything she did.

Cally would tell the world her brightest achievements were her girls, Jessy and Kelsy, and her precious grandchildren, Krew and Ava. She loved them fiercely and was always so proud of them. If you knew Cally, you knew her two girls and her grandbabies were the light of her life.

Cally had a wide knowledge and many talents due to her deep curiosity and willingness to learn. Whether she had to YouTube it or read a book, she would figure it out. From barrel racing as a teenager, to building houses, loyally supporting the band Cherry Bomb, caring for others as a CNA, Jeeping in Moab Utah, taking care of local wildlife, and most recently owning her own cleaning business, she did it all.

She accomplished so much in her short 46 years. Cally’s love, laughter, and the lessons she taught will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but forever cherished.

The family of Cally wishes to extend an invitation to those who knew and loved her to a memorial service on March 29th at 12pm at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 417 Benson Rd, Stansbury Park, Utah.
