Byron H. Basham, 50, of Gulf Breeze, FL, originally from Annapolis, MD; was taken from us suddenly on March 24th, 2011, in an automobile accident. Byron worked for many years in the automotive retail industry, which ultimately led to the creation of his present company, Basham Automotive, which specialized in business brokerage services in the automotive retail industry in the Southeast. He dedicated himself to achieving exceptional results for every single client while remaining committed to his guiding principles of honesty, integrity, and professionalism. He truly was the consummate professional. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Pamela Basham; his daughters Deanna and Lea Basham; parents Robert Lee Basham and Helen Slaughter Basham; brother Robert Basham; sisters Tamara B. Ballou, Mary DeMaio, and Lisa Basham; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members who loved him very much. Byron will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and son, cherished friend, and respected professional. He touched the hearts of many and was a true blessing to all who knew him. To celebrate his life, Reverend Ruth Knights will conduct a service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 2nd at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church 75 Fairpoint Dr., Gulf Breeze, FL, 32561.
