Bradford Donahue

February 20, 1951 — November 7, 2021

Gulf Breeze, Florida

Brad was born in Boston, Massachusetts and grew up in Redington Beach, Florida.

He is survived by his son Dylan Donahue (Christine) Port Saint Lucie, brother -William Donahue (Jayne) Dade City, sister-Leah Steele (Paul) Belleair, Nieces- Kristin Mori, Malia Steele and Nephews- Lloyd-Paul Steele, Evan Steele, and Graham Steele.

He graduated from Seminole High School and attended The University of West Florida. He was a Combat Veteran in the United States Marine Corps.

Brad began his beach service life at the age of 14 and later owned and operated beach services in various locations throughout Alabama and Florida. He loved to travel and was an accomplished sailor enjoying years of sailing his beloved boat Zirka. He loved his running group and his many friends and neighbors. Brad’s faith was deep, he loved his church and was honored to be a part of the Knights of Columbus.

Brad loved his home, family, friends, neighbors and most of all he loved working and living in Santa Rosa County.

The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00am, on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at St. Ann Catholic Parish, 100 Daniel Drive, Gulf Breeze FL 32562.  Msgr. Luke Hunt as celebrant.  Private interment at Barrancas National Cemetery, aboard NAS Pensacola.

Many thanks to the VA Medical Services and the many friends that enhanced his life.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Brad's memory the the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
