Bonnie Sprinkle

It is with great sadness, that the family of Bonnie Burchfield Sprinkle, announces her passing on April 29, 2018, at the age of 88 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Peter Carl Sprinkle and her son-in-law, Wayne Singleton.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Viki (Bob) Weir, Cindy (Jim) Steel and Tina Singleton. Gran will be fondly remembered by her eight grandchildren, Shannon, Courtney, Katie, Rusty, Andrew, Jeff, Chris and Leslie, and by her great grandchildren, Haley, Madelyn, Cody and Henley.

Bonnie was born in White Chapel, Alabama to Ocie Burchfield and Effie Turner Burchfield on July 4, 1929. She was employed by Gulf Power Company for 32 years and was the first female corporate officer at Gulf Power. She was a member of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, Pilots Club and a volunteer at Gulf Breeze Hospital. Bonnie and Pete loved to travel. She was an accomplished gardener, seamstress and loved to cook and entertain.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church Chapel. The family will host a reception after the service at 1119 Soundview Trail, Gulf Breeze, Florida.

Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Emerald Coast Hospice, 5111 N 12th Ave B, Pensacola, FL 32504.

The family would like to thank the staff at Watermark and Emerald Coast Hospice, especially, Leigh Baker and Jeanette Glass for their compassionate and loving care of our mother
