Blanche Butler

Blanche S. Butler, age 85, of Pensacola, FL was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on November 20, 2021.  She was born December 28, 1935 in Pensacola, FL to the late Rev. and Mrs. L.J. Stewart.  Blanche was saved at a very young age and was a member of Olive Baptist Church.  In her spare time she enjoyed reading and antiquing, but most of all she enjoyed cooking and hosting family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gordon Stewart; sister, Julia S. Davis; and son, George L. Smith, III.  Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Doyle Butler; daughters, Charley Taylor, Cinda Fiveash (Randy), and Donna Ryan (Charlie); 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack Stewart (Rene) and Joe Stewart; sister, Marilyn Kirkman (Tim), numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family, church family, and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00pm until the funeral service begins at 2:00pm, on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, 2942 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze FL 32563.  Dr. Stan Lewis of First Baptist Church-Crestview will officiate at Blanche’s request.  Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Gulf Breeze, FL.
