Beverly Brown

Beverly Louise Sears Brown, 64, of Gulf Breeze, Florida passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022.  She was born January 29, 1958 in Macon, Georgia to the late Charles Alvin Sears and Frances Louise Sears.  Beverly was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a Licensed Dispensing Optician in the state of Georgia prior to her retirement and move to Gulf Breeze.  She was an adoring “Minnie” to her 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.  Beverly found her soulmate in her husband of 21 years, Jack Brown, who she lovingly referred to as Mr. Wonderful.  She taught Sunday School to her class of Bumble Bees at her church and was a mentor to many of them.  Beverly was loved and admired by those she came into contact with.  She was a stranger to no one.  Beverly will be loved and missed by her family and friends.  She was a loving wife and mother to her devoted family.  Fly high my angel until we meet again.

In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Sears.  She is survived by husband, Darrell “Jack” Brown of Gulf Breeze, Fl., sons Christopher Thompson of Gulf Breeze and Kyle Echols (Cristi), brother Stanley Sears; 9 grandchildren: C.J., Bella, Tucker, Ashlyn, Sebastain, Kylie, Tyler, James and Elijah; 1 great grandchild, Hazel.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, sister-in-laws Linda Monford, Patricia Bishop, Cindy Krebs, Yvonne “Pokey” Zurborg and brother in law Larry Carriere.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22 from 5-7 PM at Rose Lawn Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Thursday, June 23 at 11:00 AM at Rose Lawn Funeral Home with Rev. Alan McBride officiating.  Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Darrell Jack Brown, Chris Thompson, Ryan Sears, Allen Wallace, Michael Bryan and John Washington.  Honorary Pallbearer is Kyle Echols.
