Betty Gabel

Betty Sue Gabel, age 77, passed away the early morning of October 11, 2009 leaving her earthly home to be at home with her heavenly Father. Ms. Gabel was retired from Baptist Health Care, Gulf Breeze Hospital after 26 years of dedicated service as well as working for 10 years at the old Five Flags Inn on Pensacola Beach prior to Hurricane IVAN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jefferson Wilbur Floore, DeKalb, MS and Margaret Steel Floore, Jackson, MS. Survivors include a son, John Jefferson Gabel, daughter and son-in-law, Tracy Leigh and Matthew Baker, four beloved grandchildren, Jonathon and Josh Seaton and Christopher and Dillon Gabel, a great-grandson Jacob Seaton, and beloved cousin Susan Willoughby. The family will receive friends at Rose Lawn Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 14, 2009 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 PM in the Garden of Faith at Rose Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Sue request memorials be made to the Community Life Center of Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, 4115 Soundside Drive, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563 for the purchase of free medication through the Good Samaritan Clinic.
