Ben Rogers, Sr.

Ben Wesley Rogers, Sr. 1952 - 2010 Ben W. Rogers, Sr, 58, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 10, 2010. He was the owner of Billy Bob's Barbecue in Gulf Breeze, FL for 9 years. Ben was a born in Claxton, GA, and had moved numerous times during his 29 year employment with Red Lobster Restaurants. He and his family moved to Gulf Breeze in 1995. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sherry Huff Rogers, formerly of Perry, GA; daughter, Kelly Rogers Allen (Justin) of Milton, FL; son, Wes Rogers of Portland, OR; two grand daughters, Savannah and Lily Allen of Milton, FL; brother, Gerald Rogers, and a sister, Nancy Roberson both of Claxton, GA. Funeral service will be held Friday, October 15, 2010, at 10 a.m. at the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church. Visitation and viewing will be held there from 9:30-10 a.m. Rose Lawn Funeral Home will be in charge of the Friday service. A service and burial will be held at the First Baptist Church of Haynesville, GA on Saturday October 16, 2010 at 4:00pm.
