Barbara "Cookie" Kostopoulos

Barbara “Cookie” Kostopoulos, age 83, of Navarre passed away on August 31, 2022 in Pensacola, FL. She was born in Peabody, MA on November 14, 1938, to Andrew and Mary Karakoudas.

She was a member of the Parish Council and chair of the Greek Festival at the Saint Markella and Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church of Ft. Walton Beach. She was a past active member of the Navarre Chamber of Commerce, Navarre Lions Club, Navarre Optimist Club, Navarre Relay for Life, Elks Club, Mardi Gras and Christmas Tree Lights and Parade Ceremony, as well as many other volunteer groups in Navarre and Peabody, MA. Her passion was volunteering and giving back to the community.

Cookie is survived by son, Michael (Mary) Kostopoulos, daughter, Andrea (David) Keenan of Gulf Breeze, son, Bill (Cheryl) Kostopoulos of Miami; and brother, Perry Karakoudas. She is also survived by the most precious thing in her life, her grandchildren, Brittany Keenan Perry, Kara Keenan, Dylan (Alexis) Keenan, Nicole (Matt) Natzke, Kari Shay Kostopoulos, Nicholas and Alexis Kostopoulos; great-grandchildren, Joshua and Ava Jones, Bryce Rodriguez, and Nora Jane Natzke as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
